01 · What Avicen is
A technology partner for healthcare only.
Avicen Technologies designs and builds custom software, applied AI, and data systems for healthcare organizations. Organizations come to us with a technology problem. We work out what is really going on, decide on the right approach, design the architecture, and build it.
We are a new company, and we would rather say so than imply otherwise. What we bring is focus on one sector, engineering depth across three disciplines, and a habit of recommending what the problem needs instead of what is fashionable.

How we think about the work.

Understand before prescribing
The right technology depends on the operation. We learn how the work actually runs before we recommend anything.

Build for the organization as it is
Existing systems, staff, and constraints are the starting point, not obstacles to route around.

Recommend the simplest thing that works
A smaller system, a conventional tool, or no build at all is sometimes the right answer.

Be direct about trade-offs
Every approach has costs. We put them on the table early and plainly.
03 · The name
Avicen.
The name draws on Avicenna (Ibn Sina), the physician and scholar whose work shaped medicine and scientific thought. It stands for something we care about: knowledge applied to progress.

Each phase has a defined deliverable and a fixed price, agreed before it starts.

Your team can take over with documentation and a transition period, or we can stay on to support and improve the system. You choose.
